Medicare Benefits

Patients with  chronic medical conditions and complex care needs whose oral health is, or  is likely to impact on their general health may be eligible for dental treatment to be claimed through Medicare.

Your General practitioner will be able to assess if you are eligible and can give you a referral to us. This will allow you to access up to $4250.00 in medicare benefits for dental services over two calendar years.

A chronic medical condition is one that has been or likely to be present for at least six months including, but not limited to, asthma, cancer, cardiovascular illness, diabetes, arthritis, mental illness, musculoskeletal conditions, and stroke.

A Patient is considered to have complex care needs if they require ongoing care from a multidisciplinary team consisting of their GP and at least two other care providers.
